Bhagavad Gita 2.20

This verse from the Bhagavad Gita reminds us that the soul transcends the body. Our parents’ love, wisdom, and strength did not end with their passing—they live on through us, through the lives they touched, and through the projects we now undertake in their name.

A Foundation for Learning, Healing, and Hope.

The Renuka Foundation was created in memory of my mother and father—loving parents and deeply generous souls whose lives were rooted in knowledge, compassion, discipline, and faith.

My mother was a woman of grace, warmth, and fierce devotion. Even through her long journey with kidney disease, she carried herself with dignity and optimism. She built deep, loving relationships with everyone around her.

My father was a visionary—brilliant, thoughtful, and endlessly curious. He was extremely well-read and well-travelled, with a mind that could effortlessly move between business, geopolitics, and cricket. He was meticulous and hardworking, but also deeply caring. He earned immense respect—not just for what he knew, but for how generously he lived.

Together, they raised us with the values they lived every day: a belief in the power of education, the dignity of service, and the importance of living with both purpose and heart.

The Renuka Foundation carries forward their legacy—by supporting future doctors, improving dialysis care, and offering quiet, meaningful acts of service in their name.
